Historic buildings (over 300) have been restored and Hudson has been called the “finest dictionary of American Architecture in New York State”. Particularly notable are the Federal, Victorian and Queen Anne buildings. It was named one of the 12 best places to live in the Hudson Valley by Hudson Valley Magazine in 2017. Award winning restaurants, great shopping and easy to reach. On Amtrak it is only 2 hours from Manhattan; 3 hours from Boston.
