As the spouse of a retired Veteran, Amy has become very familiar with the process of relocating to new areas and buying and selling homes traditionally and in completely virtual transactions. She possesses invaluable insights into the relocation process and has honed her skills in organization, communication, technology, and adaptability furthering her ability to provide attentive and personalized services for her clients.
Originally from Texas, Amy graduated from the University of Texas - Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on psychological and behavioral research. Seeking to deepen her knowledge and skills in the field, she earned a Master of Arts in Psychology (LMHC concentration) from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. During her graduate program, Amy interned with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and provided individual psychotherapy and group counseling to federal inmates, conducted psychological screenings for the Bureau of Prisons Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Program, and provided psychological testing services. After graduating, Amy became a psychology professor and continued her teaching career for 19 years.
In her free time, Amy enjoys immersing herself in the outdoors and can be found boating on the Connecticut River and beach-combing along the shorelines. Gardening, reading, and community events are also cherished pastimes.
