Amy and her husband Rick voluntarily relocated to the area in 2015 from beautiful Boulder, CO, where they raised their blended family of four, and haven’t looked back.

For the past three decades Amy has enjoyed an interesting career in book publishing, where she worked with many different authors, illustrators, and photgraphers on a wide variety of non-fiction topics. She most recently served as the executive editor for a respected series of illustrated environmental science children’s books funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), and published by Globe Pequot Press.

Amy has lived in many areas of the country, and has bought and sold several homes, including investment properties. She successfully updated some of them, doing much of the work herself, to current market expectations, and sold them for a nice profit. With a BFA in Design, she has the ability to creatively visualize what is possible with a property.

Amy currently lives in Ivoryton, and she and Rick enjoy exploring all that the Connecticut River Valley and Shoreline have to offer. They enjoy hiking with their rescued Potcake pups Stanley and Daisy, who also like to join them on their excursions wherever dogs are allowed.
