April Crumrine has been a broker for the past 43 years, and for the past 35 years, a top producer in Washington, Roxbury, Cornwall, Kent and the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. While land is a passion, residential properties are equally important, whether the home is petite or expansive, attention to detail in listing and selling the properties sets her apart. The northwest corner of Connecticut has appeal for the weekender or the full-timer.

Her client base is loyal; many clients are repeat sales as well as refer new clients. As a strong negotiator, with key marketing ability and a long reaching network, April creates and then works through a transaction successfully.

April grew up in Easton, CT and attended the Parson's School of Design in NYC and earned a BFA from Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston, MA. In the early 1980's, she owned two restaurants with her brothers where she was a pastry chef. Today, she combines her success in real estate with producing art that is shown in various galleries.

After moving to Washington in 1985 and with her husband, who is a builder and renovating the house they live in, they decided to stay and have raised four children here. April is familiar with everything from pediatricians to where to find the best locally grown tomatoes to where to take a quiet walk. As a member of the Washington Business Association and the Washington Art Association, April is well connected to the community.

Testimonials

we love April and she was so patient with us in a very difficult time when finding a good house was nearly impossible. she hung in until we finally landed something, and was continuously there for us for any request at all.

Thomas Bucecello & Tim Donahue

April C did a marvelous job selling my late mother's home/property in Bridgewater.

Cameron Gilchrist Executor

April was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy a house in the area.

Steve Radlauer & Kerry Willis

April is the best!...I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Randall Breeckner, Trustee

April has been terrific to work with. The sale could not have happened without her. I'm guessing that working with me as a client required a higher than usual degree of flexibility as well as responsiveness, and she showed both. I rate her a shade higher than I do the organization as a whole, which, though excellent, can seem a bit tradition-bound.

Michael Clive

April was very patient with us as we searched for the perfect lot. She did a great job advising us through the process.

Steven & Catherine Sabatini

We would happily recommend April to anyone looking to purchase a home in Litchfield County. She's incredibly well-versed in the area and has remained a valuable resource for us even past closing, recommending local contractors and home maintenance professionals to help us craft and care for our new property. During our search, we found her to be patient, easy-going, honest and proactive. It was always a pleasure to spend an afternoon with her.
