Kristi Law and Jim Gricar met in the challenging post-9/11 market in New York City.  Jim, as Managing Director of the Corcoran Downtown business, recruited Kristi, a proven marketing and sales executive in the TV/film production industry.  Together they navigated the seeming collapse of the real estate market into a full-scale real estate boom.  From lofts to brownstones, co-ops to condos, they've helped countless buyers move up and sellers move on. 

Since that time, their lives and careers have taken different paths.  Kristi next found success in the suburban marketplace, from Fairfield County to the Hamptons.  She developed extensive experience in the acquisition, design, renovation and sale of multiple projects of her own.  Her eye for detail and deep knowledge of the process allows her to help buyers visualize what a property can be. Kristi, who has lived in New York City, Westchester, Connecticut, Miami, the Hamptons, and Barbados currently resides in Westport.  She is uniquely qualified to help buyers navigate the challenges of getting started in a new community. 

Jim's tenure in the business has encompassed multiple roles and markets.  He's been a top-producing agent, a nationally ranked sales manager, has led urban and suburban project marketing divisions and served as president of a large brokerage. He has experience in Manhattan, Westchester County and Fairfield County.  For over 20 years he's owned a significant mid-century modern house in Weston, Connecticut, a home he personally restored to its original, award-winning condition.  He's well-steeped in architecture and design languages, and particularly enjoys helping sellers prepare and present their property to the market.

Years later, Kristi and Jim found themselves together again in Westport, Connecticut.  It seemed only natural that they again join forces and form Best Life Team.  Backed by the world-famous Sotheby’s brand and a deep team of marketing, tech, and public relations professionals, Kristi, Jim and crew will work tirelessly to sell your house for maximum value or help you find the home of your dreams.
