Dave Thomas was chosen by us to sell our Quiet Corner Farmhouse in Lebanon, CT because he delivered so strongly for us in a recent previous sale. In that one he was able to orchestrate a multiple offer scenario where we were able to choose from among several very strong offers. Once again Dave's care in staging, photographing, pricing and delivering a winning open house brought us a couple of "over asking" offers. We were delighted in hearing about the first "over asking price" offer, but then Dave concluded telling us about that offer by saying, "I think you are really going to like the next offer I have to present to you." The next day an offer came in $45,000 over the asking price and we were over the moon. We could hardly believe it. But then we learned it was an "all cash" offer and we would not need to make any additioanl repairs and we really could hardly believe it. As it turned out, there was some additional negotiations that needed to take take place after a lower than expected appraisal came in. Dave guided these trickly negotitions with care and listened to our concerns about a price reduction as a result. We ended up with all parties getting a win/win/win sceanario due to Dave's careful communications with all parties. After closing there were some loose ends regarding possible transfer of the internet service and the trash service, this is when it is sometimes difficult to get your agent's attention, after the commission checks have been cut. But Dave stayed with us and continued to serve as our fiduciary and make sure that these loose ends were brought to a satisfactory conclusion. We couldn't be more pleased with Dave's outstaning work on our behalf.

We can't overstate what a dream it was to work with Dave! As first-time homebuyers, we were initially overwhelmed by the process and the competitive market. Dave assisted us every step of the way — he was incredibly responsive and extremely knowledgeable, but what truly set him apart is how empathetic he is. We appreciated Dave Thomas' approach to selling our home in Norwich, CT. Dave oversaw some expectionally strong photos of the property, including building a fire in the fireplace. He stopped by several times to make sure all was well for the showings. After a couple of offers changed their mind we were concerned that that the lising would appear tainted after about 60 days. But Dave found a way to stir up a 4-way bidding war after that extended period of no success. This resulted in an "As Is" Offer, over the Asking Price which finally got us to the closing table. Dave's experience and even keel helped us achieve an excellent result.
