We bought our 1834 Greek Revival house in Essex, CT in 1991 and have loved living here throughout the years. We carefully took care of the house, but it was time to move to a newer house with less maintenance. Dean Eubank found 2 buyers for the house, and both buyers thought the house needed too much TLC. We were about to give up selling our house, and Dean found a 3rd buyer who loved our house and the house sold smoothly. We were planning on renting until we found a house to buy, and suddenly the house of our dreams came on the market, and Dean negotiated the price down to what we could afford. Do you was absolutely excellent at everything that he did. Everywhere from being accommodating to being gracious to our family to make sure that we were all OK in the whole process. I bought my first home when I was 25. Since then, I've been on the buying or selling end of a residential real estate transaction 14 times. I've worked with agents from small agencies, large agencies, relocation specialists, sold on my own, and bought directly from a seller. It's been interesting and even profitable. I have only 2 regrets: 1. not buying that one house I truly loved and 2. not having worked with Dean Eubank on all the rest. Dean was the key to selling my beloved house in Essex. It was a delightful house but not for everyone. It didn't have great classic curb appeal so it took some talent and hard work to get people to take a look. Dean has more talent and a more determined work ethic than any real estate person I've ever met. He believed in the house and the asking price. I simply don't know anyone else who would have sold this house as successfully and profitably as Dean. At the same time, Dean is simply one of the nicest people I know. Selling a house is no picnic but Dean was a pleasure to work with for both the buyer and seller. He was helpful, insightful, resourceful. I'm so glad he listed my house!
