Elizabeth arrived the morning after I called to inquire about selling our house. She came prepared with all the necessary documents, including the house history and neighborhood sales data. After a walk-through and a conversation where she explained the 'Coming Soon' rules and the 'Going Live' process, she arranged for a videographer to come the next day! It's a testament to her enthusiasm and skill that the house in New London sold to the first person who walked through the door—a buyer who had flown from Denver, CO, specifically to see it after the MLS listing. While a bit of luck may have been involved, the sale was primarily due to Elizabeth's experience and intuition.

I called Elizabeth in the middle of April and asked her if she could help me find a place to live. While I originally wanted to rent, I knew I had to be out of my place on June 1st. There was nothing for rent that came close to what I wanted. Elizabeth's attitude was the same looking for a rental even though she would not be getting paid. This was when I knew she was the agent for me. She didn't care about her take financially, she honestly wanted me to be happy wherever I was to live. We looked at every house in the Mystic, Stonington area. She sent me every house on The MLS website from Westerly to Old Lyme. She told me we had to be active because of the short time we had to work with. There were days when she would drag me out of bed to go look at a house. I had put a deadline in front of her and she was going to make sure we made it. Elizabeth was sure we would find the house of my dreams even though I was in doubt. She was always cheerful and upbeat even though I thought we were losing the battle. We lived in real estate for a month. We found a house where I can be happy for the rest of my life. That might be the end of the story for most people but Elizabeth found me the movers, the utility people to contact, she found me the everyone that I was going to need from electricians to plumbers. She found someone that would help me pack all my stuff. The thing is I am missing a leg and can not do moving. I am very limited physically but she made sure everything was taken care of. She went way beyond what most people think a real estate agent would do. She made my life as easy as it could possibly be. She went far beyond what her job title said she had to do. I know that Elizabeth will not need my recommendation because she is by far the best real estate agent out there. The best I have ever had. The jobs will come to her. If she can put up with me she can deal with anybody. Berkshire Hathaway is lucky to have her. I am lucky to call her my friend for life.
