He was extremely helpful and always available. He suggested a solution that enabled me to sell the property and remain in it for the 9 1/2 months I need to be here before moving out. I was able to sell the property for cash at the price Jeff had proposed, despite the fact that it is in a very remote location and housing prices have been falling. Jeff is incredibly hard-working, very obliging and personable, and very familiar with the hilltown area where my house is located.

I was in an unusual situation with an unusual house to sell. My husband had died one year prior, I had sold our primary residence of 35 years in upstate NY just months before. This house, in western MA, was unusual and truly magnificent, but not completed, still requiring work, lacking a Certificate of Occupancy. I contacted Sotheby's/William Pitt and briefly described my situation. I was soon contacted by Jeff Loholdt. Jeff, Herb Butzke and I met within days. THEY GOT IT. THEY GOT "ME"... They understood. This was going to be more than a sale of property. There were feelings involved, my feelings... grief, fear, indecision, confusion, second-guessing... While it took two years for me to find a home that met what I was looking for, I am very happy with my purchase, and the information and assistance Jeff provided me in the purchase process (as this is my first home). Jeff also offered connections to inspection and other necessary services, both through the purchase process and afterwards. I can 't say enough about the level of service provided by Jeff.
