My husband, Ken, and I are first time homeowners, thanks to Joni!! We could not have asked for a better real estate agent than Joni! We were new to the home buying process, and we are so thankful to have had such an experienced and knowledgeable guide throughout the entire process from touring homes, putting in a bid, offering a counter bid, inspection, to closing. Not only that, but we also felt we could trust that Joni had our best interests at heart. No matter how many homes we toured, we never felt pressure from her to put in an offer. A bit of context to show why she's quite literally the best realtor around: We are a family of 3, and for the last 5 years we were living in San Francisco. We decided to move to Westchester County about 1.5 years ago and Joni has been with us and supporting us during the home purchase process while we lived across the country. To start, when we were back East for a short visit 1 year ago, Joni introduced us to Rye by doing a driving tour of the town, pointing out neighborhoods she thought would match our budget and taste. Then, over the course of the next 9 months while we were living in San Francisco, Joni would go over to houses we were interested in and take video tours for us (with extremely helpful commentary!), uploading them to a shared Google Drive. She would also dig into FAR allowances (i.e., how much sq. ft. could be added on), flood zone details, tax liabilities, etc. for every single house. When we eventually landed on our dream home, Joni coached us through the process and had great suggestions for who to use for our inspector, attorney, etc. The thoroughness of her work and dedication to doing a great job simply cannot be overstated. As first-time home-buyers, we weren't quite sure what to expect when embarking on the journey, but the one thing we did know was that we had an extremely knowledgeable realtor supporting us who always had our best interests top of mind. Like I said at the top--if you are looking to buy or sell a home in Westchester County, go with Joni Alexopoulos and you will not be disappointed. The saying "10/10 would recommend" doesn't even do our feelings justice here. Joni is simply the best!!!!
