Kate understood that in selling our home of 36 years, it was more than just a business deal. The way she empathized with us and made it more personal is what really enabled our business relationship to prosper. Kate is unusual, I know, I am a clinical psychologist and my husband is a physician. She has so many attributes in dealing with people, and her intelligence and personality shine compared to other brokers we met. She is smart as a whip and really savvy.
We would like to highly recommend Kate Mercado as a realtor. She gave us many suggestions as to the changes we should make with our home before we placed it on the market. She was always available to guide us with paint color choices, furniture staging and decorating tips among other things. Kate presented fresh ideas regarding the use of social media to advertise and market our home. She has a keen insight into the preferences that current buyers find appealing in a property like ours. She knew what aspects of the house to emphasize. Everything that Kate advised us to do paid off in the end. We had our first offer 12 hours after the house went on the market. There were multiple offers and we ultimately accepted an offer that was above asking price. Selling your home can be stressful, but that was not our experience thanks to Kate.
