Kathy is a total pro. She showed me only three properties because she learned what I was searching for and did not bother with places that would have wasted her and my time. Knew each house, and when she did not have a detail, she was track it down swiftly and get back. Is resourceful and really conveys to the buyer she will find out whatever you need to make an informed judgment. She did not become less enthusiastic when I bid on two homes at the top of my budget and would not bid higher. House #3 was the one, and she tracked down numerous details on the road to closing. Will recommend her to others without hesitation.

Kathy Schellens has now sold two properties for me. Both "difficult" in various ways. (Beyond the "usual" difficult"! I suspect no real estate transaction is ever easy? She has always been a delight to deal with. Has always taken care of ANYTHING, and very quickly, and right first time. A wonderful exception in a world gone crazy, inept, inefficient, and customer indifferent. She has often cheerfully taken on things well outside what I would consider her job description.

The property you recently sold for me was a nightmare for the agent... a very modest house on a very nice piece of land. Buyers who could afford the real estate taxes were not interested in the house. It was a lovely house... many would think they'd died and gone to heaven to live there... but the land was "too good". AND there were "problems". Odd things in the deeds, etc. But your agent, Kathy Schellens, never gave up. She kept me fully appraised of how things were going. She showed it again and again, in spite of the lukewarm interest, which must have been discouraging. She made good suggestions, and in a timely manner. "Brought it home"!! AND in the final throes of the sale NEW "challenges" arose... a blocked line to the septic tank, for instance. And she Did What It Took, to Get The Job Done! Very happy with the whole experience.

She was able to successfully negotiate me through the tangled labyrinth of buying a house, and she also handled the selling of my family's large house. We never would have considered another agent.
