Molly O'Brien Watkins did an amazing job selling a very unusual property for us. We had a one bedroom cottage on two acres of wetlands in Darien that most brokers were perplexed by. Molly gathered opinions from multiple brokers and came to us with a very well thought out pricing proposal. She advised us on what needed to be done to the cottage before it was listed and prepared very comprehensive and professional marketing materials. She hosted numerous open houses, coordinated showings with other brokers, managed several bids and within a matter of a few weeks, we accepted an offer that was very close to our asking price. Needless to say, we were thrilled. Molly handled our closing and every little issue to get us to that point with complete professionalism, honesty and enthusiasm. Molly is the best! She is hard-working, honest and diligent. She represented us as both buyer and seller. Before we even found our new home, she had marketed our old house throughout her William Pitt network, so we had eager buyers waiting for our house to be listed. She prepared beautiful listing brochures, spent hours helping us stage our house for sale and held open houses for both brokers and buyers. She was always available to us – whether it be to show a home in the evening or weekend, answer questions about a listing or go to town hall multiple times to follow up on questions that came up after seeing a home. In addition, having lived in the area her entire life, she is extremely knowledgeable and stays on top of the market. Two things that I think differentiate Molly from other realtors are: (i) her ability to think outside the box (she found our house listed For Sale by Owner” on a non-MLS listing; without her, we would not have looked in New Canaan to begin with and would have never found our house and (ii) her eye” for seeing a home for what it is and/or can be. In many homes that we saw, she was able to offer interesting ideas of how you can renovate/decorate to make a home meet your needs and desires.

I had bought and sold many homes over the years in Fairfield County. I was in the market for a new one and asked a friend for a referral. I wanted to start a fresh. I wanted an agent who was professional, business like, intuitive...an agent who was simply concerned with determining what her client was looking for and finding it at the best price possible.
