The Pinchot Sycamore Park surrounds the tree, where there is a small boat launch for canoes and kayaks. A state-of-the-art outdoor venue, Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center is situated on the west bank of the Farmington River and offers live concerts and fireworks.
