Amy Ensign began touring open homes when she was in high school! Growing up in Westchester County with a mother in real estate, Amy developed an early passion for housing and architecture and a flair for seeing potential.

After graduating college, she embarked on a successful career in marketing, working in the financial sector and promoting various iconic brands including Coca-Cola. Tenacious, self-motivated and ready for adventure, Amy decided to swap out her cozy suburban home for one on the high seas. Amy’s husband was a yacht captain at the time, so she became his first mate and chef, and for three years they sailed his clients, wintering in the Bahamas and Florida and summering in Sag Harbor.

All this proved to be invaluable experience for what was to come. Returning to Westchester County, Amy worked in event planning and fundraising for the YWCA in Greenwich before moving into real estate. It was a natural fit for her – not simply because she is a second-generation realtor who knows the process and understands the market, but because she is so creative.

“When it comes to buying and selling, there isn’t a one size fits all approach. It’s property specific – which is why my philosophy is to devise a targeted marketing strategy that will attract the most appropriate buyer and the best price.” As she says, “it’s got to create a buzz!”

That buzz is why Amy has a proven track record of delivering results in Westchester County, including representing the seller in the highest priced sale in the history of Harrison NY. Her clients appreciate her responsiveness, her energy and enthusiasm and her ability to make the whole experience enjoyable.

Amy is also a co-founder of the Amy + Whitney Team which consists of two seasoned agents representing over 40 years of industry experience and committed to delivering superior, personalized service to buyers and sellers throughout Westchester County and beyond.

Amy is deeply rooted in the community and regularly connects clients with her extensive network of home professionals including cleaners, painters, plumbers, electricians, designers and contractors.

Aurelie and Chad Mair

Amy was wonderful! She was always available for questions, knowledgeable and invested in getting our property sold and of course kind and professional throughout. Any client is in good hands with Amy.

Mark and Dawn Gessner

Amy is Westchester’s best agent. Amy sold our home quickly and professionally. Additionally, Amy helped us find our new forever home. She is the best negotiator and never let us lose hope. I highly recommend Amy!

Amy has successfully and quickly sold two of our properties! She is knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. She was also very responsive any time we needed her. She is plugged into Westchester and has a real understanding of the market trends and how to navigate them. In the sale of our first home, Amy secured multiple great offers after only the first week! Highly recommend!!

Amy was just the agent we were looking for. She took the time to understand our needs and made sure not to waste our time with houses that wouldn’t interest us. Amy was very patient during the entire shopping process and never pressured us to make a decision. When it came time to make an offer, she steered us in the proper direction and saved us money! She is a local resident with children in the school district, so she really knows the area and itsresources.
