Westchester has been Amy’s happy home for fifteen years. Prior to that she lived in Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington DC, France & Denmark. Diverse experiences and exposure to other cultures allows Amy to recognize the varied needs of each individual. She has a level-headedness to confidently advise options and guide strategic decisions. On the Mellstrom Bischof Ritchie Team with Holly Mellstrom, Pelham’s #1 realtor, Amy is grateful for the privilege to be a trusted advisor for her clients.
Both a left and right-brain thinker, Amy’s always been a well-balanced peak performer. With a BS degree in International Finance from American University in Washington, DC, Amy enjoyed a career in fashion for 20 years. Her ability to be analytical and data-driven, while delivering creative, trend-right product to market, quickly had her running divisions for the largest brands. Carefully listening to the needs of customers delivered the desired sales results. Her negotiation skills positioned her at the top of the field.
As part of the PTA, she helped bring the Outdoor Classroom to Siwanoy Elementary School. Selected by the Superintendent of Curriculum to serve on the committees for Innovative Classrooms and Authentic Learning, Amy is aiding transparency from the schools to the community. A life-long volunteer, Amy continues to give back in Pelham as a board member of the Pelham Education Foundation, Girl Scout Troop co-leader and extra set of hands all around town. Not afraid to get dirty, Amy’s family planted garden beds near the train station for a Pelham Preservation and Garden Society beautification project.

Amy Sparano was very kind and helpful to me throughout the selling process. I was selling from afar and she put in a lot of extra effort to care for my home while I was away. She also found me great buyers by doing a lot of open houses. She put in a ton of effort on my behalf and that’s why I would recommend her to friends and family in the future.

Amy was amazing. She was incredibly responsive to the questions that we had and helped us throughout the entire process. She even texted us the day of our move, welcoming us to the neighborhood! She is incredibly kind, professional and efficient.
Amy was very attentive to my specific needs / wants for my move from CT to NY
Dear Amy, I can't thank you enough for all you have done in helping me sell my parents' home. You helped walk me through uncharted territory, in not only a professional way, but a humanistic way. You kindness, patience and understanding meant so much to me. I was fortunate to have an agent helping me through all this who knew how to balance business along with a true interest in helping others. Many thanks again.Love, Angela
Amy was way more than an agent for us. She was like family. Since the very first e-mail she always treated us with kindness and attention. Determined on helping us she made an incredible job. Took care of all details that surrounds the rental of a new home. My family and I are extremely satisfied and happy to have met Amy.
Amy helped me navigate a shifting housing market and adeptly managed through a complex process to help me find a beautiful home that met the things I had on my list - plus others didn't think would be possible. She was a great partner through the search and beyond - patient, open, and level-headed. Would highly recommend.
I closed 2 days ago on the most perfect home for me. If it weren't for Amy Sparano - William Pitt/Julia B. Fee Sotheby I believe I would have settled for a lesser home. All questions and concerns were answered in a quick fashion and Amy made me feel like she truly wanted to make my dreams come true.
Amy, is efficient, organized and is always attentive to all details no matter how small. Our sale was quick and without trauma thanks to Amy

My husband and I could not have made our move to Pelham without Amy! She was amazing to have in our corner, constantly keeping us apprised of inventory on the market, answering our many questions, and being so patient with us as we waited for the right fit. But beyond helping us find our next home, she really made us feel welcomed into a new community and we are so appreciative of that. We both highly recommend working with Amy!
It was so wonderful working with Amy! She was knowledgeable, helpful and answered all my questions!! She was very responsive, answered all of my calls and texts and was extremely patient! Amy went above and beyond and was in my corner every step of the way! I truly believe I would not have been able to get through the whole process without her guidance! I highly recommend Amy as your realtor! :)
As first time buyers, we were difficult customers. We knew what we wanted and what we were willing to pay, and during the "covid market" that was virtually impossible. To say Amy was patient is an understatement. She guided us through uncharted waters with poise and confidence while sharing her knowledge and experience all the way to the finish line. She always made herself available wether it was for phone calls or meeting for surveys and inspections. A true professional.
Attentive, caring and helpful. Goes above to help prepare for sale of your home. Facilitated a smooth transition. Always available to assist and answer all questions. Felt like a caring family member Would highly recommend
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful it was to have Amy with me during my home sale and purchase process. In the sale process, she was thoughtful, collaborative, shared advice but respected if I raised anything. The open house process happened during covid. I trusted her implicitly to keep it clean, safe, and treat it like her own. I never had an ounce of concern. For my home purchase process, she was incredibly collaborative. Sharing options she thought could work, following up on ideas I had, going out of her way to take a peek at something to see if it was worth my time, keeping to my ideal monthly budget. In the end the home I purchased was absolutely perfect, and I saw it because Amy thought I should. She made an innately hard process fun. Would recommend her to anyone!
