A former NYC Real Estate Broker with Douglas Elliman, Christine O'Keefe started her real estate career in 1999 as an Assistant to a busy Senior Vice President. Over the years, Christine successfully negotiated the sales of coops and condos (never a board turn down) as well as townhouses with complex tenant and CO issues. She also assisted in the sales of two luxury New Development buildings in downtown Manhattan and was promoted to partner in 2002 on the second building, a land lease loft coop. As an owner of multiple properties and having experienced several big market swings, Christine communicates with her New York City broker friends on the state of their market as Westchester’s precursor. Over the years, partnered with her NYC architect husband, Brian O’Keefe, she has completed three gut renovations – two residential and one commercial – and is well versed in dealing with contractors, zoning codes, interior designers and developers. In addition, Christine manages long term and short term residential and commercial tenants in her NYC townhouse and a beach property as well as experience managing commercial leases and subleases in a professional office space. Relocating with her family to Westchester five years ago, she knows first hand the excitement and challenge of moving with a family from a big city to a small town, the struggle of whether to rent or buy, and the challenge of weighing all the variables of these architecturally unique homes and landscapes. Always looking at the big picture, she offers the breadth of her knowledge as a realtor, renovator, investor, landlord and, finally, as a tenant herself. Outside of work, she’s a foodie who loves to cook, read, write, surf, ski and travel with her family. Christine looks forward to helping you buy, sell or rent your home by providing a luxury level of service for all price points.

Read LessWe are a young family with two kids living in Yonkers NY area. We found the need and desire to purchase a suitable home that could help my kids to grow. We are also looking for a house with single story (or with fewer steps) so that we can attend our growing kids without hassle of taking stairs. Our requirements left us only with very few houses in Yonkers area. When making such a large decision, I wanted to work with someone that I could trust. I am very lucky to find Christine O’Keefe at the first house where I started my house hunt. Throughout the past one and half years, Christine has been there at every step of the way. She has always answered every call, text or email no matter what time of day or night it was. Her professionalism, punctuality, mentorship, knowledge, honesty, and hard work are much respected and appreciated. She literally helped us to understand the ups and downs of each house that we looked into. During the time of COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to find a house that best suits our needs and desires. But, my wife and I were a bit hesitant to buy a house during the pandemic. But Christine helped us to open our eyes to see our future in that house. We remember her very words as we enjoy our new house. She has a great vision and she can foresee the things in a house by proactively making up some scenarios and can assist her clients in a best way. I never felt that she was just trying to sell me a house, but that she was a mentor to answer my questions and help me to make the best decision for my family. I now consider Christine a friend and would highly recommend her to anyone that is searching for a new home. Thanks again to Christine O’Keefe and the Julia B Fee Sotheby’s Team for being such a pleasure to work with.
Christine's service was top notch. Christine went above and beyond as a broker and made the whole process as fluid as possible. She offered and provided help without any hesitation. I felt lucky to have Christine be such a positive part my home buying experience.
I worked with Christine in purchasing my brownstone in Park Slope. She was absolutely excellent: knowledgeable, hard-working, patient and fun to work with. She helped me find the brownstone, understand its value, arrive at a reasonable and winning offer and to start the final negotiations and close. I strongly recommend her!

Christine O'Keefe was able to advise me in a complicated arrangement that led to a positive outome for all parties. Her in-depth knowledge of the local market and broad understanding of nuances of certain landmark areas is among the best in the field. She did her homework and exceeded my expectations; and always kept me apprised during the process. I highly recommend her!
We worked with Christine and had such a great experience that we still exchange holiday cards to this day! A good broker is worth their weight in gold, so when you find someone like her you are well advised to stay in touch. We would work with her again in a nano-second!
