Growing up in Salisbury and as an active member of the community, I have a thorough knowledge of the area, and welcome the opportunity to share with you the incredible things that our corner of the world has to offer including great hikes, amazing food, people and my favorite new find of the moment.
I have served on many local Boards including SWSA and Housatonic Child Care Center and I currently serve on the Salisbury Board of Assessment Appeals. I attended Indian Mountain School, Berkshire School and graduated from Hartwick College with a degree in Art History.
I am a life long equestrian and enjoy showing my Norwegian Fjord horses in Dressage. When I am not selling real estate I can usually be found at my home on Weatogue Farm in my flower garden or tending my animals. I also enjoy being outside and photographing the world around me.
My favorite part of real estate is helping sellers prepare, list and sell their house. I also enjoy the hunt to find the perfect property for my clients, and the adventures that each search brings. I also relish in connecting people to strengthen the wonderful sense of community particular to our pocket of the world. I look forward to helping you sell your property or finding your new home in our corner of the world.

Elvia and Lenore were wonderful. They did a great job preparing the house for sale and coordinating showings. Their even keeled approach to handling the inevitable issues in making and sealing the deal was appreciated. Thank you!
EXCELLENTT
Elvia is fabulous. She was our complete and unwavering advocate through our search and eventual closing. She is always responsive, thorough, will dig with tenacity for information, and has contacts throughout the area to lean on. More than once Elivia steered us clear of properties that may introduce complications. We’ve worked with Elvia twice and will do so again without hesitation. Above all, Elvia is a wonderful person who is a true pleasure to spend time with.
Elvia and her colleague Lenore Mallett were outstanding. They were friendly and calm and delivered on everything they said they would do. They helped to make my house look absolutely amazing for the showing and then championed it throughout the process. I always felt they had my back and they solved every problem that came up.
Elvia was organized and very efficient in preparing and managing the sale of our home. She is personable and prompt. Either Elvia or her partner Lenore Mallet were at the house for every inspection. All communications were timely. I couldn’t be more pleased.
I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Elvia! When we found the listing for our dream home, she moved quickly and strategically to help us make the dream a reality. On top of that, she has been thoughtful, kind, and super helpful at every step of the process. In this highly competitive market, I don’t think we would have succeeded without Elvia paving the way.
Elvia was wonderful to work with - she is on top of things, forthright and totally trustworthy. I would happily recommend her to others! 10 Stars!!
Elvia is a treasure: communicative, professional, willing and able. I trust her without reservation. She is an invaluable asset to your company.
Elivia Gignoux is an excellent realtor. She is knowledgeable, astute, and kind. She was able to quickly get a sense of who we are and what we needed; she gave excellent advise on listings, with a good sense of what would work for us. Her judgement was on point. She gave patient and wise advice about the bidding process; her help finding inspectors was critical to our ability to close fairly and quickly. We came away with a sense of trust, which was and is very important to any future plans. Ethan Watt, the seller's rep, who was also with William Pitt, was also prompt, courteous, and very helpful. It was a good team, and an excellent experience.
We absolutely love Elvia. She helped us find our first rental and continued to work with us until we found the land that we built our current home on. Elvia is a trustworthy and insightful broker that I have recommended countless times to fiends looking for or considering listing a home. She is just the best!
Elvia Gignoux is the best. Highly recommended!
Elvia Gignoux is the best. Highly recommended!
Elvia proved to be an extremely valuable asset to the process with her assessment, guidance, and command of all aspects from "Meet & Greet" all the way through to the closing. I doubt such a successful outcome could have been achieved without her personality and expertise.
Elvia was amazing through out the entire process. We loved working with her
My realtor was very knowledgeable, attentive and went “above and beyond” in the area of utility cessation. She understands and supports the natural beauty and Traditions of rural life in the region which I value.
Elvia was creative, persistent, flexible, and very responsive to a wide array of questions. She is highly knowledgable of the area and people and added invaluable perspective to our search. It was truly a joy to work with Elvia, and we are thrilled with the property we eventually purchased.
Extremely pleased to work with Elvia Gignoux who was sincerely interested in helping me find what I was looking for and gave me honest and objective advice.
I was extremely impressed with our realtor Elvia Gignoux. She was always prepared for meetings, answered questions quickly and was very helpful throughout. It was a pleasure working with her.
Elvia was everything we could have hoped for in a real estate agent. We have been through many purchases and sales and she ranked among the very best in terms of consciousness, thoroughness and patience throughout our process, which stretched over a long period.
We were very happy from our first meeting with Elvia until the actual closing. Elvia was very honest, easy to talk to and always willing to answer any questions or concerns we might have had. She was respectful of our home and our time -we were given plenty of notice when showings were scheduled. Elvia is very knowledgeable about the area and is very professional yet in a friendly manner. We got the sense that she showed the same attention while listing and selling our small home as she does for large estates. We highly recommend Elvia and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future if the situation arises. Diane and Ed Carling
Selling my house was so much more than finding a buyer. It was letting go a huge part of the story of my life. My agent understood that. She understood the meaning of property. The land and the memories it holds. For that I'm very grateful.
Elvia Gignoux did an amazing job. I had no idea how to synchronize an estate sale with the sale of the house. She took it all over and managed it all perfectly. Thank you so much, Elvia
