Karen Ptashnik

Karen’s keen eye for design & strong communication skills has been essential to her real estate business. She prides herself on connecting clients and building relationships. For over 3 years, Karen has excelled with top ranking agents and has not only learned first hand about the intricacies of the business, but all the elements that create a market leader.

With deep connections to her local community, she has cultivated a strong network of friends, neighbors and local business owners since moving from Brooklyn to the Westchester area in 2001. She and her husband are happy to have chosen Harrison, NY as their home to raise their three children.

Before becoming a licensed real estate professional, Karen had a career as Vice President/Media Buyer at McCann-Erickson Advertising in NYC, where she was a television network negotiator responsible for determining pricing and sale of commercial advertising time for high-profile corporate clients. With a passion for photography, several years ago Karen enrolled at Westchester Community College to study and learn advanced techniques. Among her favorite subjects are her three sons, celebrations, and families throughout Westchester. She brings this creativity and advertising background to marketing within real estate. Karen has always been very involved and active in PTA responsibilities, and is currently serving on the board of the Harrison Educational Foundation.
