2023 marks the thirty-ninth year for Karen Silk as a real estate broker in Litchfield County. She was a partner with George Auchincloss in the highly regarded Washington Depot firm of Auchincloss & Silk Real Estate until May of 2002 when it was acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty.
Karen is known as a professional who lists and sells country homes, estates and farms. She has been since the beginning of her real estate career a top producer. For many years she has been honored by William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty in the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze categories for listings and sales.
The mother of four daughters, she is committed to her family and community. She has served on the boards of Pilobolus, the dance company that calls Washington home, the United Way, the Lake Waramaug Task Force, the Girl Scouts of American and Prime Time House. She is currently a director of the Washington Environmental Council and a member of the Washington Club.
