I cannot possibly say enough wonderful things about Laura. In all transparency, I tend to be cynical about realtors, yet Laura turned out to be the most phenomenal agent I have ever worked with. She is extremely knowledgeable about the towns she works within, from both the perspective of someone who has raised kids in the area, and as an empty nester. She knows the market. She advocates for her clients. She will NEVER recommend a home she would not live in herself. She is not pushy. She is an excellent resource during both the inspection and closing process. She is timely, thorough, responsive, and most importantly, she is lovely to spend time with. She is kind, and thoughtful, and I came out of this process with not only a beautiful home, but a friend. I could not more enthusiastically recommend Laura!
I cannot say enough about the positive experience we had working with Laura to help our daughter buy a home. She was knowledgeable, responsive, had our daughter's best interests always uppermost in her mind, and was a pleasure to work with. Having experienced brokers who are aggressive and focused on closing a deal rather than finding the best fit for the buyer, Laura stands out as the complete opposite. Her experience in the industry proved invaluable, and she guided us through a process that can be stressful with constant support and reassurance. I would not work with anyone else in the future.
Laura was excellent from start to finish, and is also a charming person and a pleasure to work with. From sourcing to completion and everything in between, she excelled. Honest, clear, on top of things, proactive, reasonable, realistic, knowledgeable, she could not have been better. We would recommend working with her to anyone.
My wife and I closed on a house in Darien and our agent, Laura Fitzpatrick has been absolutely extraordinary from the moment we met her. Laura helped us develop our list of non-negotiables, kept us on track while she showed us numerous houses to educate us about the local real estate market, and provided us with tours and background of Darien and various neighborhoods. She patiently worked with us to find our dream home. Laura guided us seemlessly through the offer, contract, and closing processes, and went above and beyond our expectations too many times to count. She was always there when we needed her. Her knowledge and network of local providers has been a great help to us, especially being new to the area. Even after closing, Laura has continued to check in on us. She is a wealth of information and always eager to help. We are beyond grateful for Laura an can not recommend her enough!
Laura is a pro who works tirelessly for her clients. Always available to take calls and having the answers needed as well as devoting multiple weekends to Open Houses. It’s easy to see she loves what she does.
Laura is the best! We had such a tremendous experience working with her. She always remained positive and optimistic that she would find us the right house when it felt like we never would (we did)! She takes charge, is super responsive, knows the market, and knows what needs to be done to close a deal. We couldn't have asked for a better agent and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Laura in a heartbeat.
Laura was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond for our family and we could not be happier with our experience!
Laura Fitzpatrick is the ideal real estate agent. She provides valuable insight and knowledge. Laura is very responsive and has the client's best interest especially when it comes to personal transactions regarding your home.
Lynley, just reaching out with feedback on our agent Laura. She was also our buying agent last summer. I have nothing but good things to say. She was helpful throughout – from listing, staging, all the way through closing, Laura was communicative and went above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth for us as sellers.
"My husband and I would like to give you feedback on our experience working with Laura Fitzpatrick over the past 14 months. We began looking in November of 2019 for a rental home with the intention of getting to know the Westport area and then potentially purchasing a home. We did not know one person in Westport and had no knowledge of the neighborhoods or market outside of our own limited research. Laura showed us over a dozen rentals (eventually found one) and then an additional 40-50 homes for purchase. We had many false starts on both our rental and then our final choice for purchase, which were incredibly frustrating (less than honest sellers is putting it nicely). We mention this because without Laura’s guidance, we would have probably given up looking in the Westport/Southport area. What amazed us was her incredible level of consistent professionalism throughout a very difficult process and evolving market. Her knowledge of the market, the specific neighborhoods, the relevant comps and effective bidding strategies (as it evolved during COVID) was priceless. She maintained an upbeat, positive, unflappable demeanor when we were completely discouraged and at times angry at the conduct and lack of disclosure of some of the sellers we encountered. We have owned multiple homes in NYC, Southampton and Lloyd Harbor. Over the 30 years we have worked with many successful, highly ranked brokers and Laura is certainly at the top of the list. She is a rare combination of market savvy and has extremely high client and self awareness that makes it a pleasure to work with her. Typically, you get one or the other in our experience. We both feel that even this glowing review does not do her justice since she was not only an excellent broker but also acted as the one person Connecticut welcoming committee and our champion for the past 14 months. "Sherrie and Jim D.
We so appreciate the work you did for us and what an incredible pleasant time we had touring with you! You were so kind and gracious and everything was so well organized and even the kids had fun! We will continue to recommend you!"
This past year we had the pleasure of working with Laura Fitzpatrick on several real estate transactions; the sale of our house in Darien, the acquisition of a short term rental and the purchase of a home in Weston CT. Our process began in March with Laura visiting our home and making suggestions as to how best prepare the home for market, a delicate task as we had been in the house for 24 years. We all "got to work" and the house was ready at the end of May. Laura was present at every house showing which we do not believe is always the case. Our house had challenges as we were situated next to the Metro North Line. Laura prevailed and we received an offer, which we balked at, in August. Laura gently explained that every offer has a beginning, middle and an end and we successfully closed at the end of the month. In the meantime we continued to look for our "forever" home, spanning many towns in Fairfield County. We settled in Weston and Laura dealt with the negotiations from start to finish. She took us on a journey and we ended exactly where we wanted to be, closing on December 5th. It has been a pleasure to work with Laura as she is the consummate professional. We wanted to take this time to let you know what an incredible job Laura did for us.
