Although this is my first time selling a house, Lisa helped me through the entire process. My property was an unusually piece to sell, but Lisa used all of her skills to get this to come together for me and I am absolutely thrilled that we set forth the goal and accomplished it. Lisa came recommended by a friend and my friend was right. Lisa is an awesome Real Estate Agent.
Lisa was recommended to us by my brother in law who is in commercial real-estate. At the first introduction she came prepared with all the information we needed to not only sell our then current home but also the steps to finding what we were looking for in our new home. Lisa listened to what was required in our new home, gave us all the tools we needed to begin the search, and kept us up to date on current listings. Our requirement was very restrictive, not only all one level living but also allow us to continue to enjoy at least some of the privacy we had in our current home. Not all of the properties met all our needs but Lisa was able to show us those that could with some simpler modifications work for us and keep within our budget. After viewing many properties through the portal she set up for us we toured our first two properties on a rainy Friday, offered on the second property that night and with Lisa's expertise we were able to secure the winning bid on Tuesday. I am confident that without her expert suggestions on placing our bid we would not have been able to not only win the bid but stay under our top line. Selling our home was very challenging, it was our first home together and after 30 years of building our memories there, we needed to make the change. Lisa understood the personal and emotional attachment we had and was able to guide us through all the necessary steps to effect the best outcome. I admit it took me awhile to see that she knew what was needed and with her help in making some more of the updates we had started and staging it in the right way (this was the hardest part) ( less is after all, best) we were able to sell our home within a relatively short time and for a fair price. Our new home had everything we were asking for and then some extras as a bonus. While the change has been challenging, it is the perfect property for our future needs. Lisa has become a friend through all these challenges as well as my real-estate confidant. She patiently listened, understood and did what we needed her to do. We could not have found a better agent to work with and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts.
Lisa worked very hard over 3+ months to ensure the sales process was driven to completion for my townhome condo. While it was stressful at times to wait out extensive buyer / lender delays, her patience and follow-up persistence with those parties won out in the end. Ultimately, enlisting Lisa / Sotheby's services leaves me confident I was able to receive top dollar for my unit.
My experience with Lisa was fantastic. My aunt had left me her house and I needed someone trustworthy to guide me through the process in a market (coastal CT) that I was not familiar with. There was also the post pandemic surge that we needed to understand. At first, Lisa was very informative without being high pressure. I was candid in terms of how I wanted the house represented which allowed Lisa to make very strategic suggested that would result in maximum profit. In addition, Lisa took the time to understand my families history in the area and used this as a showcase to potential buyers. I had to do right by my aunt and Lisa identified with this. We received a couple of offers, some of which were unreasonable in terms of their requests considering we listed 'as is' so Lisa again, did a fantastic job of explaining the buyers mentalities and the importance of patience in a fast moving environment. Lisa is a go getter with a gentle touch. In closing, I feel that Lisa did such a great job pre listing and that's what made my decision so easy in having her list my property.
