Maggie Meehan brings a rare combination of creative expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and investment insight to William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Darien brokerage. Drawing on more than a decade in the fashion industry, she offers clients a refined eye for design, color, and texture—skills that translate seamlessly into showcasing and marketing distinctive properties.

After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in History, Maggie immediately began her career as a fabric buyer in a Los Angeles clothing factory. She went on to build her expertise in fabric research and development with renowned brands including Karen Kane, Gap Inc., Macy’s, and JCPenney, and later founded her own retail store and fashion company. Her work took her deep into the production process, from Los Angeles to New York City factories, honing her appreciation for craftsmanship and detail—attributes that now inform her approach to preparing and positioning homes for the market.

An experienced real estate investor, Maggie has curated a diverse portfolio that reflects her passion for design and property transformation. She owns and manages a working farm in North Dakota, a thriving Airbnb in the Berkshires, and long-term rental properties in Chicago and Palm Springs. Her firsthand knowledge of property renovation, short- and long-term rental management, and market dynamics enables her to guide clients with both creativity and business acumen.

Originally from Palm Springs, California, Maggie now resides in Darien, Connecticut, with her husband, young son, and three beloved dogs. Outside of real estate, she loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family. She also enjoys interior design projects, exploring New England’s coastal towns, and traveling.
