HOME IS AT THE HEART OF IT ALL:
Today where and how you live is more important than ever. Home is your sanctuary, where you gather with family and friends, seek privacy, enjoy your surroundings and the great outdoors, and find peace. As a buyer, knowing how you define that ideal place and choose wisely is the goal. And as a seller, who has decided to move on, knowing how to define your home and present it in the best possible light is critical.
MY STORY, BRIEFLY:
I grew up in rural Minnesota, in the midst of prairie country. We were raised farm-to-table, so I was ahead of the times. After college, I came to NYC for the adventure and a career in advertising. My experience as a writer and Creative Director, focusing on the marketing and sales of products, branding, and succeeding in a competitive world, relates in many ways to real estate. I became a weekender in Litchfield County starting in the early ‘80s. And after leaving advertising, I got a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University in 2001. Soon after I became a full-time resident in CT - and a real estate agent. A great move.

In spite of some of the ups and downs over the last few months, you have really been a steady and dependable advisor as we navigated our purchase. We are very grateful to you. Thank you again for your patience and wise counsel.” -JE
"Dear Sharon, Thank you for being my advocate. I always felt safe and that it would work out! You're a special woman!!" -Michaela Lawrence
“Sharon Hartwick was a very professional realtor who took charge in all the procedures involved in selling my house. She led us through all the steps, including the staging, photography, filling out paperwork, and attended every showing. Sharon is a top-notch realtor, and I highly recommend her to anyone selling their home. I know she had other houses on the market, but she made me feel like I was her only client.”Anthony Coppola
“Sharon was an absolute pleasure to work with. As first time homebuyers from out of state, we had a lot of questions. She was very patient, knowledgeable about the area and overall gave great advice throughout the process. She also recommended a contractor who we’re about to start working with on our new home. Sharon made an otherwise stressful purchase very smooth and easy for us. We couldn’t be happier with our new home!”Alexandra & John
