Thanks for your interest in me!

Born a Midwesterner, I have chosen to call New England my home.  The beautiful rolling hills of Litchfield County, coupled with the open, generous spirit of community, suit my temperament. Naturally kind, patient and friendly, I am quick with a welcoming midwestern wave and a smile.  

Early in my career I immersed myself in the creative pursuit of photography, which gave me the perspective of beauty and scale through the camera lens.  My focus slowly transitioned to interior design, where, working for a prominent architect and design firm in Manhattan, I continued using creative abilities to imagine and shape spaces for specific purposes.  My love of the outdoors invited me into the world of landscape design in conceiving outdoor rooms and gardens in my own home. It is been both a love and a passion.  I have a gift for the marriage of form and function and I am adept at visualizing beyond what is presented to me.  

Working in real estate allows me to use all of my skills and talents, and I appreciate the level of care that our conscientious community takes with their homes and gardens. As an avid cyclist, I enjoy climbing the peaceful hills or leisurely riding around one of the area’s beautifully serene lakes.  The perspective from a bicycle sparks my visual delight of the beauty that surrounds us here. 

I believe there is a perfect house for everyone.  When working with clients, I listen closely to their wants, needs and wildest dreams, and use a bit of my own intuition to guide them to a well suited home.  Helping people to recognize the hidden charm of a particular house or location, evaluating flow, and recognizing how light and color affect mood and ambience in an outdoor landscape is the highlight of my work.  I would love to introduce Litchfield County to you and show you around.  Let’s go for a drive someday soon!
