He noted her energy, good judgment and commitment to clients, all of which we found to be true. Though Yonkers was a relatively new area for her, she quickly learned about our neighborhood and the community. Throughout the whole process, she gave us good advice about preparing the house for sale and once we (very quickly) had a cash offer, about negotiating final terms. Then we hit a bump in the road- on open 1949 construction permit for our powder room- Alexis worked with the Yonkers building department (also very responsive), our contractor and electricians to clarify what inspections and improvements had to be made to meet code and close out the permit. She was persistent and always available- this was essential for us as we were living 3 hours away. On top of all this, Alexis has a great sense of humor and is great fun.
