It was a stroke of serendipity that Diane Stevens was in her office the day I decided, on a whim, to stop at Sotheby’s to start the ball rolling on the sale of our house. We knew it was going to be a long process; the market was shifting as the world eased out of the worst days of the pandemic. We also had to deal with factors that would complicate and slow down the sale of a house we had owned for 18 years. Diane and I spent almost 2 hours in conversation; when I left her office, I knew that we would be in secure hands. I was not wrong. Diane is one of the most extraordinary realtors we have ever met. Not only is she the ultimate professional—knowledgeable, skilled, reliable and trustworthy—she also brings an element of personal interest and support that is rare to find these days and yet so incredibly helpful when one is in the throes of preparing a house for sale and then dealing with open houses and multiple viewings. There were so many things that she did for us that went well over and beyond what most realtors will do. (We should know; over the years we have dealt with realtors not only in several states but in several foreign countries!) We truly felt that our needs and concerns were hers. We will always be grateful for her help and are happy to consider her a good friend.

I highly recommend Diane. She helped me to sell my mother's home so that she could move into an Assisted Living. This was not an easy transaction as the rules and options were constantly changing at the Assisted Living due to Covid-19. Diane was patient and always had my mothers well being and best interests at heart. I live several hours away from her home in Litchfield, CT and did not have a good understanding of the market in her area. I quickly became confident in Diane's guidance and learned to trust her. There were some complications with our transaction and we had to make some Buyer concessions. Diane always took the time to explain options, make recommendations and share the benefit of her broad experience.
