Don is the "Secret Keeper" of Donnie's Down Home BBQ Sauce and Spice Rub, LLC.. Don has been the past Vice Commodore of the Essex Corinthian Yacht Club and also a current member of the Pettipaug Yacht Club. Previously he was a Board Member of the Old Lyme Country Club. Don is a former member of the Executive Board of the Essex Board of Trade and the Executive Board of The Essex Historical Society. He is also the Coordinator of the USMC Toys4Tots Program at our Essex and Old Lyme Offices.

Don is a graduate of Georgia State University, and a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
