Susan and I are both in our 60's and in November 2024 we found ourselves suddenly faced with the problem of moving out of a house where we had lived for twenty years, and which was filled with items associated with Susan's time spent selling collectibles. The timing was not of our choosing because the apartment we wanted to move to had suddenly and somewhat unexpectedly become available. So moving over the holidays was added to the mix. Ellen Sebastian and her team made the whole process, start to finish, about as easy as it possibly could be. Ellen very promptly looked over our property, gave us an idea of what she saw as the value of the house, and made suggestions about some things to enhance the value. Ellen had recommendations for a company to manage our estate sale, for cleaners once it was empty, and for painters to improve its appearance. All of those recommendations were totally spot on: professionals who were easy to work with and who did excellent work. After a frank discussion about our goals (which were mostly to sell the house speedily and with minimum risk and a reasonable return), Ellen brought us a buyer who was prepared to meet our conditions, gave us a list of lawyers to prepare the closing, and guided us through a truly painless process. In spite of the timing, the holidays, and our own limitations, Ellen got us from first conversation to closing in less than three months total. There is nothing we would have done differently. We are very much beyond satisfied with Ellen and her team!
