Testimonials
My wife and I had been talking about relocating from Texas to Connecticut. I was in CT over Memorial Day weekend and had some free time. I decided to go to an open house in Redding, which happened to be Julie's (that wound up being my lucky day). After I walked through the house, Julie and I talked for a while about the Fairfield County market, how quickly homes were selling, how firm sellers were on pricing, etc.. Her knowledge of the market, and realistic assessment of what it would take to be successful purchasing a home, was spot on....Urgency! I returned to Texas and told my wife that if we were really interested in moving back to Connecticut (we are both originally from there) we'd have to commit to it and get moving. We found two houses that we were very interested in so I called Julie to get the details. She explained that there was a lot of interest and that the one we liked most was in negotiation. I got on a flight the next morning (Friday) and Julie set up an appointment for me to tour the house on Saturday. I loved the house, got my wife's OK to go after it and decided to make an offer. We went back to Julie's office and she went to work..... We pulled my financials and other information to demonstrate that I was a qualified buyer and then put together a formal offer. She called the seller's agent and explained that I was only in town for a couple of days and asked if she would accept another offer. She agreed, and off it went. Done, right? Not done!! Julie called her mortgage contact and left a message that she needed him to call her asap (did I mention that this was Saturday night?). A short time later he returned her call and she put me on the phone with him. We went through my plan to finance the purchase and he said that he would have one of his associates reach out to me. By now it's after 8:00 Saturday evening. Julie has spent the entire day with me. Done, right? Not done!! As I'm driving back to my hotel, I get a call from the mortgage guy's associate. He asked a bunch of questions and about 20 minutes later my mortgage application has been initiated. The next morning we get a call from the seller's agent saying my offer has been accepted. Done right, not done!! This is Sunday morning and Julie contacts an inspector and schedules an inspection for Monday. The inspection goes well and Julie contacts an attorney she uses and we go to contract. I asked her how she is able to get this kind of response from people. She said "I just tell them that I won't work with people who don't call me back". I know this story is a bit long, but it captures all of the characteristics that set Julie apart. Knowledgeable, Committed, Connected....Urgent! Don't want to leave out caring and compassionate!!! We closed on our house two weeks ago and are ecstatic! I know we couldn't have done this without Julie's guidance and support! This is the tenth home I have purchased and I can say without hesitation that Julie is the best real estate professional I have ever worked with....Hands down!
