Full disclosure, Leslie was my very caring neighbor during some very stressful times. When I thought about selling she made some suggestions for landscaping and mentioned a builder she thought may be interested. A year later she when I decided to sell, went into action and in two calls my house was sold to the builder for the price we all agreed was fair. That was the beginning of her full service operation rather than the end. I now needed an apartment. She searched every possible condo and rental opportunity in lower Westchester, even accompanying me to some buildings where she knew she would not get a fee. She recommended a real estate lawyer, mover, tag sale operator and handyman all who were terrific. Ironically, the easiest part of this entire saga was the sale because of her knowledge of the community, and her net working skills, but she more than earned her broker's fee, getting me out of the house, into the apartment, and dealing with emotional moments of uncertainty, panic and genuine sadness at leaving the home I once loved.
