Since retiring from the music industry in my early forties, I've found plenty of opportunity to add value in the real estate arena. I'm still in "show" business and enjoy treating every client like a superstar. The communication and management skills I honed while keeping the wheels moving for touring musicians throughout the U.S. and abroad are invaluable in my real estate practice.
Each real estate transaction presents a unique opportunity to avoid potential pitfalls and to advance my clients' interests.
A relentless pursuit to add value and protect my clients over a 25-year-plus career as a Real Estate Broker licensed in Connecticut, New York and Hawai'i has resulted in over 1,000 successful transactions with dollar volume in excess of $1B.
My 2021-2023 YTD sales volume is over $150M. I cannot thank my clients enough for allowing me to help them through what has been a stressful time for all. My patience to get things done right on their behalf is boundless.
My wife and I are longtime stewards of "The Birdhouse", an iconic c.1733 colonial on Main Street in Essex Village. We moved to Essex in 1997 with our then four-year old son. We have enjoyed roles in several civic organizations and clubs in town and the shoreline area over the years.
I sail competitively as a member of Essex Yacht Club in one design fleet and team racing, and have competed in the Newport Bermuda race. I am also a licensed private pilot, and sometimes sit in on keyboards or harmonica if a band has an opening for a bluesman.
Occasionally I work remotely from our second home on Maui, taking advantage of the latest in mobile technology while supported on the ground by my stellar team in Essex.
I rank #1 in sales volume in Middlesex County and the town of Essex for 2023.
If you are considering selling, there may not be a better time to contact me. If buying, I may be able to find property meeting your requirements that is not publicly available. I will put your interests ahead of mine in either role while negotiating for you.
Whether you contemplate buying, selling, or both; I would love to hear your needs and get to know you. Any discussion we have will be kept strictly confidential.
Thank you!
Best, Rick
