Originally from Northern California, Vanessa enjoyed a nearly two-decade career in the Financial Services industry working on Wall Street in New York City. The skills she established as a Managing Director instilled in her the importance of communication, meticulous organization, acute attention to detail, and the value of maintaining a positive attitude in a variety of situations.

Vanessa has extensive experience working closely with clients to deliver on wide range and bespoke requests, offering creative solutions under sometimes complex conditions. She has a long track record of delivering high quality results and attributes her professional success to thoroughly understanding her client’s needs, what is important to them, and why.

In addition to having a strong work ethic, Vanessa understands the multi-dimensional aspects to Real Estate investing, ranging from interior design, financing, and contract negotiation. Her experience in Real Estate dates back to her first residential purchase in 2005 and additional purchases since then. She has direct experience buying and renting condominiums and cooperatives, as well as single family residences. Vanessa absolutely loves Real Estate and the joy that comes with staging and selling to finding the perfect home.

Vanessa’s continued love for community and the outdoors is what drew her to Litchfield County. Here she is a Board Trustee of the Washington Art Association, she volunteers with ECAD training service canines, participates in local community events and enjoys hiking, fishing, cycling, camping and yoga. She lives on Lake Waramaug with her husband, Jay and their Cavalier King Charles, Henry.
