Paul E. Breunich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of William Pitt - Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty, has led the company through its most explosive growth cycle: the opening of 15 new offices, expansion into Westchester County, NY, Connecticut Shoreline, Hartford County and the Berkshires, Massachusetts markets, the introduction of the pineapple icon, securing the Sotheby’s International Realty affiliation for the company and bringing in Building and Land Technology as an equity partner to position the company for future growth.
Under Paul’s leadership, the company has become one of the largest Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates worldwide and the 31st largest real estate company nationally. A certified public accountant and licensed real estate broker in Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Paul served as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer prior to taking ownership in 1997.
Paul has served as President of the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service. Previous roles have included Treasurer of Fairfield County’s Consolidated Multiple Listing Service, Treasurer for the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service, Treasurer of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® and NAR Large Firm Director, and he has spent several terms on the executive committee of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®. Paul is listed on the annual Swanepoel list of the top 100 most powerful people in residential real estate.
Paul has a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut.
