The current owners are only the sixth family who have lived in the house since it was built. They have completed an extensive amount of renovations keeping the Historic character in tact. The current owners are only the sixth family who have lived in the house since it was built. They have completed an extensive amount of renovations keeping the Historic character in tact. A complete list of upgrades are available upon request. The front entrance with the massive wrap around porch and stately columns is very unique and one of a kind for Essex. Entering the foyer with it's 9 ft ceilings and plenty of room to greet guests you walk in to the living room through a wide cased opening. Generous amount of architectural features included in this room are fireplace with it's original mantle from the 1800. There is an office with lot's of light from the large windows which have been upgraded to double pane in the entire house keeping the original glass in all. The adjoining dining room with it's high ceilings can seat 14 easily. Off the dining room there is a room which could be a primary first floor bedroom with a full bath and kitchenette. A hallway leads down to the eat in kitchen, with newer appliances, working fireplace and a sitting room. There are 2 sets of stairways one leading to the master bedroom with a working fireplace and separate walk in dressing area. Three other bedrooms and 2 baths along with outside deck complete the second floor. A separate 3 car garage with solar panels, work shop and carport.
