One of the great antique homes of Litchfield County located in the Flanders historic district of Kent. The original settlement of Kent began in the 1700's and is surrounded by the famed Cobble Brook. Within the District are 10 architecturally significant homes, built between 1738 - 1840. The Flanders House, circa 1738 is one of the two oldest houses. The original house underwent a complete restoration in 2002 but the authentic charm and details have endured. The property consists of a main house, guest house, pool, pool house as well as rich gardens and Lawn.
On the main level is the beamed living room with fireplace, beautifully proportioned square dining room, the kitchen with marble and butcher block counters, DCS 6-burner cooktop, Bosch double oven, butler’s pantry, and laundry room.
