I do not know what I would have done without Rita Kirby and Bonnie Sztam to arrange for the sale of my late father's home in New Canaan, CT. Of the three brokers I interviewed before moving forward with RIta and Bonnie, only Rita and Bonnie had a comprehensive plan to maximize the sale price of the house. Some work was needed, but Rita and Bonnie made sure that all of the necessary contractors were qualified, showed up on time and did the work to their very high standards. The result was that there was a bidding war after the first open house, and by the end of the weekend, there were multiple bids above the asking price. Rita and Bonnie gave me sage advice about which offer to accept and worked seamlessly with my real estate attorney. When the buyer requested that certain work be done on the house prior to close, Rita and Bonnie again arranged for the contractors and made sure all the work was completed. I had to do very little in the whole process. Moreover, they connected me with various services, including the person who helped clean out the house. I had no idea that real estate brokers worked so hard! Rita and Bonnie are absolutely terrific and I highly recommend them.

Bonnie Stzam was exceptional to work with in all phases of our home purchase. She is professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding real estate markets in Fairfield County. Bonnie is an exceptional realtor. I've worked with several realtors in my life as I have moved up and down the east coast and she by far was the best realtor I dealt with. She spent the time to get to know us as a family, our needs and desires and spent several months helping to make sure that we got the right house for us. She also worked hard to negotiate a deal with the other realtor for us. She knows New Canaan exceptionally well and we look forward to having her over to our house for years to come as she has become a great friend through our house hunting experience.

I am so glad I found Bonnie. We looked at and made offers on 4 houses. Our first offer was turned down as it had just gone on the market and we continued looking. We found some other houses that we liked but all turned out to have problems that we did not see at first. Bonnie stayed with us and was helpful throughout. In the end we brought the first house. After months of looking Bonnie talked to the agent for that first house we liked, called us and told us they would bring down the price. Within an hour we had an agreement and got the house we wanted at a price that worked for us. She is so nice and easygoing. A pleasure to work with.

Bonnie was great to work with and helped us get more out of the deal than we had thought possible. While representing both buyer and seller in this situation, I never once felt that we were not the priority in the negotiations.
