Karen Kaminski-Marchetto

After moving 20 miles south of Berkshire County 25 years ago, Karen learned quickly in her 12 year career in Real Estate that it is about the lifestyle as much as it is the home.  There is a regional flavor she insists exists along with a call to nature, whether you are active, artistic, academic or all of the above.  The inspiration most often comes from the elements as clients search to become closer to what it is that grounds them…family, woodlands, water, work, and more.  Karen understands life transitions out of a home or into a new one are quintessentially very personal and can provide the nuanced guidance needed to facilitate the transaction. Conjoining her professional career in Real Estate with 5 years in luxury Hospitality has enabled her to broaden her perspective on all the goings-on in the heart of the Berkshires whilst immersing in activities like kayaking, mushrooming, antiquing, concerts and theater and always insisting on scheduling in time to slow down enough to enjoy a cup of tea.  Regionally looking south and southwest she has market insight into what may offer more rural-focused opportunities, familiarity with the smaller communities therein and additionally the five college area including Northampton and Amherst. She has two daughters that fill her heart and inspire her to stay open minded musically and she is continually struck by how independent and insightful they both can be.  She stewards an Historic Chapel that now acts as a Meeting House nestled on a grassy knoll above the pristine Middle Branch of the Westfield River, a place that will take us back in time.  She dabbles in growing roses, lavender and herbs for the simple pleasure of aroma therapy and infusing water and oils and no matter how long the day has been, makes time to walk her dog down river to hopefully catch the last of the day's sunlight.
