Rick Weiner: Experience, Care, Advocacy — and Over $1 Billion in Sales
Adding value through strong advocacy is the most rewarding aspect of my real estate career. After retiring from the music industry in the mid-1990s, I found myself happily back in “show business”—this time representing extraordinary homes and remarkable clients. Adding value through strong advocacy is the most rewarding aspect of my real estate career. After retiring from the music industry in the mid-1990s, I found myself happily back in “show business”—this time representing extraordinary homes and remarkable clients. I treat every client and every property like a superstar, bringing the same communication, organization, and problem-solving skills I honed while managing logistics for major touring artists.
That relentless focus on adding value, protecting my clients, and promoting properties has produced an exceptional track record:
Total Career Volume: Over $1 Billion across more than 1,000 successful transactions
Recent Production (2021–2025): Exceeding $180 Million in sales
Top 1% Performance: Ranked #1 in sales volume for Middlesex County and the town of Essex for multiple years, and a consistent Top 15 agent company-wide out of more than 1,100 agents at William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty
My patience on your behalf is boundless as we navigate the unique opportunities—and potential pitfalls—of your purchase or sale.
A Life in Essex and Beyond
My wife and I are longtime stewards of The Birdhouse, an iconic ca. 1733 colonial on Main Street in storybook Essex Village. With its nautical charm reminiscent of Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard—yet just two hours from New York or Boston—Essex captured us in 1997 when we moved here with our young son. We still pinch ourselves almost daily, living the Essex dream.
Outside of real estate, I am an active member of the Essex Yacht Club, sailing competitively in one-design fleet and team racing, including the Newport–Bermuda and other offshore races. I also hold a private pilot license—and if a band needs a bluesman, you might find me sitting in on keyboards or harmonica.
Licensed as a Real Estate Broker in both Connecticut and Hawai‘i, I often manage my practice remotely from our home on the island of Maui, supported by a stellar boots-on-the-ground team in Essex. Even skeptics become believers when the deal gets done at 4:00 AM Pacific Time.
Considering a Move?
If you are thinking about selling, there may not be a better time to reach out. If you’re buying, I may know of opportunities not actively on the market. Every conversation is handled with complete discretion.
I look forward to learning your goals and helping you achieve outstanding results.
