Working with Amy Manning and Sotheby’s on the purchase of a condo has been the absolute best experience I have ever had. Amy is a beautiful person inside and out….she is warm, professional, responsive, kind and took care of everything for me. I couldn’t believe how fast and painless the entire process was. I have some physical limitations and she did things I was not able to like figuring out how to open the washer and dryer and writing to ask if I needed help getting from the lobby to the lawyer on the 2nd floor. At the final inspection, she brought me the most beautiful rubber plant garden in a gorgeous pottery.

Although an old house is a tough sale, and my neighbor was also selling her historic home, Amy was able to sell it in a reasonable amount of time at a great price. She was always available immediately to handle my calls and questions.

I could not have asked for a better realtor than Amy Manning to guide me through the sale of my long-time family home. I had never sold a house before, and needed a lot of help and advice. My husband had recently passed away, and I wanted to sell my Connecticut home and buy a condo in California. She knew exactly what to list my house at, did an amazing job of staging and getting professional pictures, and advised me on which of the multiple offers she thought were most fitting and why. She kept in touch throughout the process with frequent calls and text messages. My house was under contract in 2 days after listing with multiple offers. Because of Sotheby's worldwide network, she also connected me with an agent in California who was able to help me find a condo in the area I wanted, which I closed on a few days after closing on my Connecticut house. Amy guided me through this major change in my life during an already difficult and stressful time for me. She is truly one in a million.

I was referred to Amy by a family friend who is a real estate agent in New York. Being from New York as well, I did not know much about Connecticut real estate and how to go about finding an apartment. Amy exceeded my expectations and more.
